Writing poetry requires inspiration, and that’s a tough job when I am uninspired. So here I am back again with movie, book, manga, and TV series rants. Faster and shorter to write, and sometimes they inspire me with the willingness to create, these nerding logs help to unravel my mind. Unfortunately, thanks to the government banning Tumblr, accessing my old blog has become a hassle.
In short, this is just my personal log and takes on pop (or not) culture. Can be very short, can be very long. They might read like commentaries, but I am not a critic nor an expert in anything, so again, this is personal.
A little caution here: I’ve been accused of having an outré taste 😤, but in my defence, this is not by design or intentionally so. I watch everything from festival movies to soap operas, read shojo to seinen or even yaoi, read Booker Prize winners to Harry Potter to danmei. It’s a matter of preference, but don’t even ask, I don’t even know what my preferences are. Be it a surreal slice-of-life or fantasy, as long as it fits the logic and feels real, I dig.
